At Kea we Believe that with the support of a great motivated team you can really compete at your best! Having a strong group of your peers to pick you up in the rough times, cheer you on in the good times and motivate and support on the tough days is such an awesome experience.
Sometimes just looking up from a class and seeing one of your mates there to cheer you on is all you need to ride a positive workout!
Our riders are such an amazing group of people, going out of their way to help warm up at shows, lend a hand .. critque performances and even discuss outfits over a nice glass of bubbly!!
Being able to workshop problems immediately after each competition with experienced winners is an invaluable tool and we find we can have a few really good laughs whilst making good plans for the next training session and competition.
It is a really tough sport sometimes and being surrounded by others who are passionate about their horses and their sport can really lift you up!
Christina started riding with Rochelle when she was just 6 years old. Her passion and dedication is evident in her beautiful riding and constant enthusiasm. Christina has huge goals for the future - her sights are set on the Olympics! Christina has just started campaigning Australian Champion Anglo gelding Robali Renoir.
Good luck Tina - we're with you every step of the way!
I couldn't love my 4 horses more if i tried, they are the most delightful, challenging individuals who make me smile everyday, i say we, We have My Precious Jewel, because when she is naughty which is often, she is Shellys horse, A beautiful black Arabian Warmblood mare, a Jive Magic daughter i bought from the Ryans, Auction of the Stars, which was the most exciting , nerve racking day of my life, my hands where shaking so much when we got her winning bid i had to get Shell to do my paperwork for me,,,Jewel was heavily in foal to Fiji, we where taking a big risk buying her without riding her first ,but after weaning her son and hopping on, i realised i had a real handful to deal with, more so than anything i had ridden before, 600kg of V12, real power and strength is Jewel." BlackBetty", " Wild Woman", "Witch of the West" "Vrooom Vrooom", some of her nicknames people have come up with from her performances in the ring, lets just say i always have my monkey grip on when i ride Jewel, but i feel after 2yrs of love, training ,love , training, love and more training and prayer, i have a ride and bond underneath me which is like no other ..........., when i can catch her.... Then is Jewels son, The Last Emperor, A 2yr old black Warmblood gelding, who trots around, snorting like he is ready to go to battle and has a Charlie Chaplin moustache, i have recently broken and had a few light rides on him and i cant wait to bring him out to the show world.... then my 1st horse i bought, Champagne & Roses, bay 4yr old anglo who is the spoilt brat golden child, happiness for me, is riding her around our farm in richmond, seeing as i broke her in myself its the most rewarding ,fun experience i can have,,, Bubbly and i have stormed around the show ring with great success in the Young Horse saddle classes! Greg shows bubbly for me in her halter ring , they usually come out with the Red White and Blue..... and then is Bubblys full sister, Diamonds & Roses, " Diamonds" is an absolute delight in all ways, who, when we went to have a "look" at bubblys full sister, literally, whispered in my partners ear, please, take me home, is a gorgeous 2yr old grey anglo filly, i lightly broke her in as well because she begged me too,,,, diamonds has just starting coming into her own in the show ring with greg winning Champion of Champions Anglo at the prestigious East Coast Championships,,, i am eagerly awaiting riding her in the baby saddle classes at the arab shows next season,,,, she luuuvz being ridden, or basically having anything done with her......Training my horses with the help of Shell and Greg sends me into into another stratoshpere from learning and growing so much with my dearly loved babies, i know they enjoy all their lessons as much as i do, and are very happy animals...... I cant wait for the next challenging show, being ready ,prepared and winning is the goal, we hope to see you there... or possibly at a dressage comp with Jewel if Shelly gets her way, with her horse....

I show Foxy under: HV Falcon and Kristen Bailey.
I got my first pony at the age of 3 and have now ridden for 21 years. Im currently in my final year of my second degree studying to be a a PE high school teacher. I began showing competively at the age of 11 up until about 18months ago. I had success throughout this time including at Canberra, Bathurst and Sydney Royals in the open, rider and breed rings with hacks and ponies I have owned and ridden. However, 18months ago i decided dressage was what i wanted to do, enjoying the training that goes into the horse and rider.
We then bought HV Falcon who at the time was a 4yr gelding, by Ferrero Rocher. I have been fortunate enough to have been able to compete at CDI and Nationals in the young horse classes with him. 'Foxy' is now 5yrs old and at his second start at Novice scored a great 71%, as well as top scores at DC and other offical events. I plan to have a long partnership with horse, learning together under the guidence of Rochelle to successfully move up the levels all the way!
Claudia With Blossom aka.Headley Park Blithe Spirt I won zone 19 under 13 champion for E grade ODE, zone 19 under 13 champion for show riding, and I now ride Boots aka Robali Renoir and we went to Sydney Royal, and now my brother Oliver's been riding Blossom.
My mum and I bought a foal, Romulus R. and he is growing up and we are going to the Olympics together when he's a bit older. I learn my dressage tests by running round the arena without Boots. This weekend is my first novice test on him. I hope to qualify for Young Riders next year and get on the NSW team!
I have been riding and showing Arabian derivatives and open company horses for the past 25 years and have had many champion horses which have given me the pleasure of winning at Sydney and Canberra Royals and the top Arabian shows in the country. My daughter Ashlee has been riding and showing with me for 8 years now working her way through pony club to Australian Championship and Royal level of competition, winning at all levels. We currently have a large Galloway which we show at royal level and he is also Arabian riding pony, being the current 2010 Australian National Champion Ridden Arabian Riding Pony and Ashlee winning many Youth Championships at the East Coast Championships and Australian Arabian Championships, and topped of 2010 coming home from Canberra Royal with 6 wins, 2 championships and a Reserve Championsip in open company, Arabian derivative and Part Bred Welsh classes, and also came home from Sydney Royal with a 1st in the Led Arabian derivative gelding and 2nd in the ridden.
I have had the pleasure of competing along side Rochelle for many years and in the later, Tina and Ashlee have been through the Youth ranks together, so I have many wonderful hours of sideline chit chat, nailbiting and laughs with Rochelle and Greg whilst watching our girls compete. Hence I put Rochelle on the look out for a very special youngster for us to purchase as our next super star and we were thrilled when she found Frolic for us at Heath and Rozzies. Rochelle and Greg have a great eye for a horse and she is growing into a very beautiful filly. She is by Fiji (imp) x Jive Magic mare. We will show her as a halter horse in the Arabian Warmblood classes and we are hoping she will be an open company hack or show hunter when she is broken in and matures. I am keen to pursue dressage with her when her showring days are finished as I had a purebred stallion to medium when I was younger, but our true love is in the show ring so we have high hopes for her and under the care and hard work of Rochelle and Greg and everyone at KEA we will fulfill those dreams!!
I am of Polish/English lines imported to Australia in 1963! I have “done time” in boarding school & lived most of my life in the country. I have raised a human family & now have one beautiful granddaughter.
I have always loved horses & used to get in trouble for always drawing them instead of doing my school work!
I have painted portraits of some lovely horses for a few special owners & have great pleasure from observing beautiful horses from whatever breed, type or discipline I happen to be admiring.
I’ve been showing & breeding Arabians for 30 yrs! Started out with Supreme Champion Palomino Partbreds & continue to pursue the ideal of the beautiful, performance Polish Arabian now with Russian lines & occasional doses of El Shaklan for added beauty & style. I imported the Pure Polish Champion Stallion Vivo in 1989/90 & bred East Coast Top 5 colt Revel by him out of our grand matron Essence (Warranty x Euni) Our mare base is focused heavily on Polish blood.
I am the owner of the current 2010 Australian Arabian National Champion Mare Halimas Amber Gem & also own the 2006 Australian Arabian National Champion Stallion Sadiks Psyche.
The stud is based in Western Australia’s South West/Great Southern region on a sheep & grain farm & produces around 5 or so foals a season. This 2011 season will see the arrival of three ET foals by Sadiks Psyche & five others from daughters of Padrons Psyche, Vivo, Revel, & Amir El Shaklan. All of which will be offered for sale. We are also using Heir of Marwan with Amber Gem.
I am a proud owner of Statford Dominic, a lovely natured warmblood gelding who loves cuddles and treats! My home is originally in Finland but I am based in Australia at the moment. While I am working in busy Wine Industry in Sydney CBD, spending weekends with Dom is a perfect contrast for the rat race. I love training dressage as it can be very demanding but also it is fun, keeps me happy and healthy.
Dom is one of the most laid-back horses outside of the dressage arena but he can be challenging horse inside the dressage arena. This makes our training more interesting and Finnish “Sisu”(persistence) keeps me going. KEA team is an amazing support in up and downs, advising and giving tips when I need them. Our aim is to do some comp’s once we are ready to rock’n’roll. Comp gear is already polished & action required!
I am a French national who recently moved to Australia with Peter, my partner and Raphael my 16 years old son. We have lived for the past 15 years in Asia (Singapore and Hong Kong) where I was working as an I.T Marketing Manager and then running my own business.
I discovered Arabian horses as a kid while living in Africa with my parents. A few years ago, while living in Hong-Kong I purchased Diamond Dream a palomino and very “Arabian- looking” foal in Australia. The plan was to bring her home –wherever home may be- once she had grown up. Instead luck has made us recently move to Sydney, so Dream and I will finally be reunited when we both “start” at KEA next week!
So far Dream has had a very good year showing in halter and brought home the titles of 2011 East Coast Champion and 2011 Australian Reserve champion (part bred).
I am very excited about joining KEA - although I must admit having mixed feelings to start riding after a ....20 + years interruption - I am really looking forward to meeting everybody! A bientot!

My goal is to produce a horse that will be good enough to compete/get accepted in the Young Horse Classes in Germany and represent Australia or just to be able to have a horse good enough to take overseas and compete at the highest level. At the moment Baydens Royal is the horse that i am striving to achieve this with.
Previous accolades with horses or other fields: I am a CPA qualified accountant so i do like number crunching and spend most of my days at work, but when i am not with horses i enjoy taking the dog for a walk, swimming and trying to keep fit. But honestly, i like to spend as much time as possible with the horses. I really feel relaxed when i am around them and can de-stress from the hussle and bussle of work.
I train with the team at KEA because I love The friendly atmosphere and being able to go out there any time. They are always happy to give advice when needed. Whether it is what you want to hear or not. At the end of the day i prefer people to be up front and honest with situations and not beat around the bush. I found at KEA that the information received is always truthful, reliable and honest.
