Rochelle King-Andrews is a professional equestrian athlete & trainer who has been involved with horses since she was a young child. She has amassed, to date, an amazing 27 years experience in the field.
As an experienced horsewoman, professional equestrian & dressage trainer, Rochelle is able to impart this wealth of knowledge and experience to her pupils. Her students have recorded over 1500 wins at all levels, with her team of riders having proven their ability for many years as highly competitive equestrian athletes & sought-after professional riders. Rochelle’s dedication to her students is arguably her best quality. If results speak for themselves, then Rochelle is surely one of the leading equestrian trainers in Australia.
Having had several horses on the National Elite & Talent Squads over the years, she has personally won over 1000 Championships.
Rochelle’s personal forte is Dressage, at which she has competed and trained at all levels.
As a trainer, Rochelle has an uncanny ability to take even the most difficult of horses to levels previously thought to be unattainable - through her hard work, dedication and natural talent. Rochelle's focus is centered on her students, her top dressage horse Challenger Aachilles and her up and coming young warmblood colt - Challenger Jacaranda.
Rochelle is happily married to Greg Andrews and has 2 children Graeme and Christina.
They live at the KEA training stable property in Ebenezer. Rochelle’s daughter Christina is also a dedicated dressage rider and is an integral part of the horse’s day to day training and happiness at KEA.
Rochelle really enjoys training in a friendly and positive charged atmosphere.
"I love having great students and clients coming out and enjoying their horses here at KEA. We have such a great team of people here and our clients are fantastic. Coming to work is a lot of fun with horses and people like these! Our aim is to provide great support to our clients, a nucleus of trainers, peers and facilities to help them enjoy their horses. I like everyone to feel a sense of togetherness. It’s a big journey to the top. It’s emotionally and physically exhausting at times. I like to think that by having the support of like minded people we can make the journey a little easier."
